This session prepares HR professionals to confidently moderate the annual session with business leaders, providing tools to ensure business strategy is clearly articulated and discussed. Upon learning the priorities of the business through this session, HR can develop initiatives linked to business strategy. The session provides guidance for HR initiatives to support the priorities of the business as the year unfolds.

Learning Objectives:

  • Design the business strategy planning event based on your company’s culture and resources.
  • Outline the key elements of a successful business planning session.
  • Understand a business strategy planning tool, completed by each business unit leader, for the annual session. The tool will be provided to participants in the session.
  • Develop practices to revisit the content from the business strategy planning event throughout the year.
